Overview

The Beckhoff EL3208 is a high‑density EtherCAT Terminal that connects up to eight resistance sensors (RTDs/resistors) within just 12 mm width. It converts resistance directly to ohms or to temperature in the terminal according to selected sensor characteristics (Pt, Ni, KTY). Sensors are connected in 2‑wire technique. Measurement capability/status is indicated via LEDs and process image bits.
