Overview
The Beckhoff EL6021 is a 1-channel serial communication EtherCAT Terminal for RS422/RS485 devices. It operates independently of the higher-level bus in full- or half-duplex mode up to 115.2 kbaud, using differential signaling for high noise immunity. The interface is galvanically isolated from the E-bus. With the TwinCAT Virtual Serial COM Driver, the EL6021 can be used as a standard Windows COM port.
