Overview
The Beckhoff EL6021 is a 1‑channel serial communication EtherCAT Terminal for RS422/RS485 devices. It operates independently of the higher‑level bus in full‑ or half‑duplex mode up to 115.2 kbaud and provides galvanic isolation between E‑bus and signal lines. With the TwinCAT Virtual Serial COM Driver, the EL6021 can be used as a standard Windows COM interface.
