Overview

The Beckhoff EL6022 is a 2‑channel RS422/RS485 serial communication EtherCAT Terminal. Each port operates independently up to 115.2 kbaud (full duplex) with differential signaling for high noise immunity. Both channels are galvanically isolated from the E‑bus, and the module can source 2 × 5 V / 20 mA from the E‑bus to power small external devices. With the TwinCAT Virtual Serial COM Driver, the EL6022 can be exposed as standard Windows COM ports.
