Overview
The Beckhoff KL5111 is a 1‑channel incremental encoder interface Bus Terminal for 24 V DC HTL encoders. It provides A, B, and zero (C/Z) inputs, a 16‑bit counter with quadrature (4‑fold) evaluation, and a 16‑bit latch for the zero pulse. Counter values can be read, set, and enabled via the fieldbus. Interval measurement with 200 ns resolution is supported.
