Overview

The Beckhoff EL6001 is a 1‑channel RS232 serial communication EtherCAT Terminal (CCITT V.28/DIN 66259‑1 compliant). It operates independently of the higher‑level bus in full‑duplex mode up to 115.2 kbaud and provides 500 V galvanic isolation between the E‑bus and signal lines. Used with the TwinCAT Virtual Serial COM Driver, it can appear as a standard Windows COM interface.
